Update 01/2024: Humana Medicare, Aetna, United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oscar, Oxford, and Cigna insurance now accepted!

At Oak Bridge Counseling clients pay for their services in full at each session (if you are not using accepted insurance), and then clients submit to their insurance for reimbursement afterwards if they would like.  You may still be able to apply some of your insurance benefits to the cost of therapy, by submitting an out of network bill from Oak Bridge Counseling.

Cost per session is $150 for 53 minutes.

Oak Bridge Counseling collects payment via an Electronic Medical Record System. Clients enter in their insurance or credit card information in an encrypted form and that information is stored in their client profile to use for payment. Clients can use credit cards, HSA and FSA cards.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Counseling is highly dependent on severity of issues, motivation and dedication to make changes, and support system in the client’s life. Oak Bridge Counseling is unable to predict the exact number of sessions needed until a client no longer requires counseling.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
